Barak is an entrepreneur and investor based in Tel Aviv. He is a social games expert and is interested in smartphone consumer apps with B2C business models. He is currently the CEO of gaming company MyTopia.
Previously he was the Co-Founder and CEO of international social game company Amuso.com, backed by Mangrove Capital Partners and Atlas Venture. Here he negotiated partnerships with BBC Worldwide, Fremantle, Endemol, Shine, MTV, Time Warner, Fox Interactive, 888 and other leading media and gaming companies and built game studios in London, Barcelona as well as Kiev for game design, development, marketing and support. Amuso was named a Top 100 Startup for 2010.
Barak worked in Corporate Development at Yahoo! and Sony. He also served as a paratrooper with the Israeli Defense Forces, performed mergers and acquisitions for Morgan Stanley and worked for the National Economic Council at The White House.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business.
Barak is an active angel investor in Crossrider, SABI and Smarkets.
